FPIP ESH Receives Recognition from DENR-EMB CALABARZON for Best Available Practices in Solid Waste Management
The Environment, Safety, and Health (ESH) team of First Philippine Industrial Park was awarded the recognition for Best Available Practices in Solid Waste Management by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB) CALABARZON region headed by EMB 4A Regional Director Noemi A. Paranada during the Annual Environmental Summit on July 24, 2018 in Tall Vista Hotel, Tagaytay City, Cavite.
A testament of the company’s dedication toward sustainability, the award was given to FPIP in recognition of its exemplary implementation of RA 9003 or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000 as validated by DENR-EMB in one of its multi-partite monitoring team meetings.
Accepting the recognition on behalf of FPIP were Engr. Jeffrey Panado (Construction and Development Section Senior Manager), Engr. Nelson Lontok (Mechanical Engineer), and Essi Anne Kaye Cruzat (ESH Officer).
Completing the ESH team of FPIP are Edwin De Chavez (ESH Senior Manager) and Christine Joy Sarmiento (ESH Officer).
